- Come up with a story that you would want to share with the class.
- The story should be about a topic, activity, or experience that you really love / loved.
- Whatever source you choose as the focus for your story, plan to include certain words and phrases from Unit 1 (see Step 2 below).
- Use online resources to search for the additional vocabulary you need, but be sure to follow the class Responsible User Policy (RUP) when looking for those words and phrases.
- These "additional" words and phrases are meant to support your understanding and usage of vocabulary used in class.
- Create a way to present your story that plays to your strengths. Some examples:
- Make a video.
- Draw a comic.
- Paint a picture.
- Direct a skit with fellow classmates.
- Write a poem.
- Write a story.
- Etc.

- Brainstorm the topic and begin to put together the main events of your story using el Esquema Fantástico para Crear Cuentos (el EFCC).
- Plot out the written portion of your final project.
- However you choose to create and present your final product, you should plan to demonstrate understanding of some of the Unit 1 vocabulary.

- the list of key vocabulary and structures that you will be expected to use
- links for where to look for additional vocabulary
- links for where to go for helpful images
